Middle School Gardening Visits Kindergarten Classrooms
Seventh graders Avery D., Rose H., Catelyn P., and Eden P. approached gardening teacher Andrew Kaila with an idea to use rocks harvested from the Nature Trail to create an activity for the kindergarten classes.
The group began brainstorming ideas for their activity and decided to facilitate a rock painting activity for the Lower School. Once the project was approved, they worked with their teacher to organize two dates when they visited kindergarteners to paint the rocks!
Upper School students of Spanish 3 Honors, Spanish 4 Honors, and AP Spanish attended the dress rehearsal of the opera, El último sueño de Frida y Diego, and stopped for lunch at the Pueblo de Los Angeles on Olvera Street.
